Challenge or social need:
The EQM system has been implemented in Iceland and several countries have shown interest in doing the same. But without quality improvement quality assurance does not make sense and therefore there is a need to review the system with the aim of improving parts of it that have appeared to be fragile or incomplete as well as keeping it up-to-date with the development of quality assurance of adult learning. Improving the quality of education and training is one of the priority areas of the EU Council’s European agenda for adult learning and in order to build a strong adult-learning sector, the focus should be on developing quality assurance for learning providers e.g. by using existing quality assurance.
Description:
Σκοπός αυτού του έργου Nordplus είναι η βελτίωση και η ανάπτυξη του συστήματος πιστοποίησης ποιότητας EQM, Ευρωπαϊκό Σήμα Ποιότητας, για τους παρόχους μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων. Σκοπεύουμε επίσης να αναθεωρήσουμε και να βελτιώσουμε τα πρότυπα, τα κριτήρια και τη διαδικασία διαπίστευσης, ώστε το EQM στο σύνολό του να είναι ενημερωμένο με το νέο πλαίσιο συστάσεων για την ποιότητα στην εκπαίδευση ενηλίκων, το οποίο δρομολογήθηκε τον Οκτώβριο του 2013 από μια θεματική ομάδα εργασίας για την ποιότητα στην εκπαίδευση ενηλίκων που εργάζεται με εντολή της Επιτροπής της ΕΕ.
Benefits/success factors/ measurement of success:
Μέρος της βελτίωσης θα είναι η δημιουργία ενός κύκλου μαθημάτων κατάρτισης για τους εξωτερικούς αξιολογητές/εκπαιδευτές, καθώς ο ρόλος τους δεν είναι μόνο να αξιολογούν την παροχή μάθησης βάσει των προτύπων και κριτηρίων του EQM, αλλά και να υποστηρίζουν τον πάροχο μάθησης στη βελτίωση της ποιότητας του έργου του και στην οικοδόμηση μιας βιώσιμης κουλτούρας ποιότητας εντός του οργανισμού του παρόχου μάθησης.
