Challenge or social need:
The EQM system has been implemented in Iceland and several countries have shown interest in doing the same. But without quality improvement quality assurance does not make sense and therefore there is a need to review the system with the aim of improving parts of it that have appeared to be fragile or incomplete as well as keeping it up-to-date with the development of quality assurance of adult learning. Improving the quality of education and training is one of the priority areas of the EU Council’s European agenda for adult learning and in order to build a strong adult-learning sector, the focus should be on developing quality assurance for learning providers e.g. by using existing quality assurance.
Description:
L'obiettivo del progetto Nordplus è migliorare e sviluppare il sistema di accreditamento di qualità EQM, European Quality Mark, per i fornitori di apprendimento non formale degli adulti. Si intende inoltre rivedere e migliorare gli standard, i criteri e il processo di accreditamento in modo che l'EQM nel suo complesso sia aggiornato con il nuovo quadro di raccomandazioni sulla qualità dell'apprendimento degli adulti, lanciato nell'ottobre 2013 da un gruppo di lavoro tematico sulla qualità nell'apprendimento degli adulti che lavora con un mandato della Commissione europea.
Benefits/success factors/ measurement of success:
Una parte del miglioramento consisterà nella creazione di un corso di formazione per valutatori/formatori esterni, in quanto il loro ruolo non è solo quello di valutare l'offerta di apprendimento rispetto agli standard e ai criteri EQM, ma anche di sostenere il fornitore di apprendimento nel migliorare la qualità del proprio lavoro e costruire una cultura della qualità sostenibile all'interno dell'organizzazione del fornitore di apprendimento.
