The project deals with an educational challenge to promote the full inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
Description:
Σκοπός του έργου είναι η ανάπτυξη μιας καινοτόμου μαθησιακής προσέγγισης - ψηφιακής αφήγησης προσαρμοσμένης στα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία - με στόχο την παροχή ενός καινοτόμου, ενδυναμωτικού και διασκεδαστικού εργαλείου για τους εκπαιδευτικούς/διαμορφωτές που εργάζονται με άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία, το οποίο θα τους βοηθήσει να αναβαθμίσουν τις δεξιότητές τους, να κατανοήσουν και να ενδυναμώσουν τα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία.
Ειδικοί στόχοι του έργου:
- να επιμορφωθούν οι διαμεσολαβητές/εκπαιδευτικοί που εργάζονται με άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία ώστε να χρησιμοποιούν τη μέθοδο της ψηφιακής αφήγησης προσαρμοσμένη στα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία και έτσι να αυξήσουν την απόκτηση διαφορετικών δεξιοτήτων ζωής από τα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία: αλφαβητισμός, ψηφιακές δεξιότητες, κοινωνικές δεξιότητες κ.λπ.
- αύξηση των εκπαιδευτικών ευκαιριών για τα άτομα με νοητική αναπηρία ώστε να συμμετέχουν πλήρως στην κοινωνία και να διαχειρίζονται με επιτυχία τις μεταβάσεις στην αγορά εργασίας
- να ενισχυθούν οι βασικές δεξιότητες (αλφαβητισμός και ψηφιακές δεξιότητες) των ατόμων με νοητική αναπηρία, να καταστεί δυνατή η συμμετοχή τους στην κοινωνία και έτσι να αυξηθεί η κοινωνική τους ένταξη
- to mainsream and sustain innovative digital strorytellin methodology that explains the practical implementation of the process with practical cases and includes Methodology implementation manual and Simple guideline for people with ID for future use.
Benefits/success factors/ measurement of success:
Project addresses niche target group in Lithuania and partner countries which is often forgotten and moreover project focuses on today’s and relevant skills acquisition that would increase integration of people with disabilities.

Resources are translated in native languages, digitalized and openly accessible to anyone.
Transferability characteristics:
This action do not require extra budget financial resources. Starting from the educational experiment, certain characteristics of the course were identified as worth exploiting in an educational format to evaluate the impact of other future training interventions.
Inclusive characteristics/Innovative elements:
Project gives priority for analysis of target groups needs in ordert to understand current situation, developed accessible resources and guidelines to use it in private and mainstream practices and educational institutions.
